Modernization of hydrothermal SPA baths
Many of Europe's famous SPAs today are on the map about two thousand years ago during the Roman invasion of Europe, when the Romans brought their "bathing" culture to the lands they conquered. For example, Emperor Caracalla (Marcus Aurelius Severus Antoninus Augustus) believed that hot springs in Baden-Baden, Germany had cured his arthritis, and he subsequently built one of the finest baths [1](SPAs) outside Rome.
It is often said that a visit to the spa should be a journey of discovery - not just a new experience, but a discovery of the joy of true relaxation and self-indulgence. Spa entrepreneurs and hoteliers are becoming more and more aware that this experience can be greatly enhanced when hydrothermal treatments are added to it.
The possibility of rest in the intense heat of the sauna, the possibility of enjoying the benefits of the steam bath or inhaling salts, the possibility of refreshment by diving in cold water, the possibility of refreshing in a cooling atmosphere of a snow cave and for refreshing by immersion in a specially designed purpose hydrotherapy pools, without worrying about the weather and the climate, is probably the best relaxation.
